Building Confidence and Accomplishment with Full Marks: KUMON Has Catapulted My Learning Progress!

I started KUMON when I was in the second year of kindergarten. At first, I wasn't very enthusiastic about doing homework, and I didn't engage actively in my learning. The turning point in my attitude came when my kindergarten teacher taught us how to write the Zhuyin (phonetic symbols) for the first time. By then, I had already been learning to write for some time, so I didn't encounter problems with holding the pen or controlling its direction. This made my learning and practice process smooth, and I realized that I had an advantage over my peers. The sense of accomplishment from the learning process made me realize that I was improving every day, which changed my attitude toward doing homework.

I often wonder what KUMON has brought to me. I think the clearest feeling it has given me is the mindset to persist through any difficulties, no matter how tough things get. Moving from the first level of materials to the highest level requires enough perseverance and years of accumulation. After all, it's not easy to climb step by step, level by level, to a higher floor.

Along the way, I've inevitably faced setbacks and even thought about giving up. But once I successfully passed through the bottleneck, I felt so proud of myself, and I realized I could continue. Now, when I encounter difficulties, my first thought is always: Don't give up, try again! I am so glad to have a mindset that's willing to persist.

KUMON has been with me since I was little. It has seen me receiving awards on stage, seen me correcting my work repeatedly, and witnessed my moments of wanting to give up but persevering in the end. It’s safe to say that KUMON has always been a part of my life. I’m thankful for its companionship, and I'm grateful for how it has added more color to my learning journey.
