Achieving Beyond Grade Level and Enjoying the Continuous Sense of Accomplishment!

#ASF Outstanding Student Share
"Surpassing grade level has been the biggest help because most of the content taught in school has already been learned through KUMON, so I can easily score high on both quizzes and major exams!"

Shi-ting began learning KUMON at the age of eight, initially aiming to build a solid foundation in mathematics at the KUMON Zhongzheng Tongshan Center. At first, she #set a goal with Teacher Fu Mei-hui to complete the high school-level math J series before graduating from elementary school. Not only did she achieve this goal, but this year also marks her first time receiving the ASF honor.

Since the materials beyond grade level are often more challenging than what is taught in school, there were times when Shi-ting felt frustrated and even considered giving up. However, Teacher Fu always patiently encouraged and guided her, #adjusting her learning pace and workload as needed based on her situation, helping her overcome these bottlenecks.

Throughout her KUMON journey, Shi-ting developed an interest in mathematics. Every time she learned a new concept, she felt a great sense of accomplishment. #Her focus and attention to detail have significantly improved. She believes that the greatest benefit of surpassing grade level is that most of the content taught in school has already been learned through KUMON, so whether it's a quiz or a major exam, she can easily score high. For example, she once participated in an internal school math competition and won first place. She encourages other KUMON students to never give up midway because as long as they #stick to learning, they will definitely become very skilled!
