A Different Kind of Early Childhood Education! Efficient Learning Helps Children Build a Strong Foundation Before Entering Elementary School | KUMON Method Education

ASF Excellent Student - Parent Sharing

Xiang Ning is currently in her kindergarten middle class. Before she was two and a half years old, her mother often arranged various activities, usually going out four days a week. Once, a friend reminded her mother: "Although it's rich and fun, the hardest part is making the child feel entertained at home. Stability needs to be cultivated, or it will be hard to self-study properly." Because of this advice, her mother decided to help her focus. As a result, at the age of two and seven months, Xiang Ning started at KUMON XinZhuang ZhongZheng TianQuan Classroom, first learning math, then gradually adding English and Chinese.

This year, Xiang Ning won her first ASF. Before, she had seen photos of senior students who had won ASF at the KUMON center and was asked if she also wanted to get the ASF. She answered directly, "Yes! I want to get the ASF!" When she found out she won this year, Xiang Ning was both surprised and happy, and her mother was also very proud of her.

Through the KUMON learning process, in addition to improving her math, English, and Chinese abilities, Xiang Ning has also become more disciplined. She knows what homework she has to do every day and understands that she needs to finish it before playing. Not only that, she has also overcome her previous short attention span and is able to focus on finishing one task before moving on to the next. Her thinking and judgment skills have also significantly improved. When writing the advanced textbooks that go beyond her grade level, Xiang Ning has not encountered any major difficulties and even finds learning at KUMON to be enjoyable!

Recently, Xiang Ning has been learning piano for almost a year and can now play and sing English nursery rhymes at the same time. Her mother mentioned that the piano lessons only teach sheet music and how to play, while Xiang Ning taught herself to sing. Her mother, surprised by this, believes that her ability to recognize many English words and sentences comes from her learning English at KUMON.

Because of Xiang Ning's #improvement in stability and #growing disciplined after joining KUMON, her mother often recommends KUMON to friends and family. She believes that the earlier we help children develop #the habit of sitting at the desk regularly and learning efficiently, it will help them build a solid foundation in math, English, and Chinese before entering elementary school, which will certainly boost their confidence when they start school.
