Learning Beyond Grade Level, Helping Me Be More Efficient and Have Extra Energy!

#KUMONExcellentStudentSharing

(Exceptional Student Yang Jieyue / High School Freshman)
I started learning KUMON at the age of five, and my favorite subject is KUMON math. Throughout the learning process, beyond enhancing my math skills, the long hours of practice have unknowingly helped me develop patience and the ability to seek solutions through mistakes. This attitude has proven useful in all types of learning.

Facing ever-updating, more advanced materials, I often encounter frustrations and even confusion between the current and previous lessons, making me consider giving up. Luckily, Mr. Shi from the Sanmin Chengping classroom has been constantly supportive, offering assistance whenever I encounter difficulties. With his help, I was able to adapt to the higher-level materials and continue improving.

The greatest benefit of learning beyond my grade level has been the development of problem-solving skills. At the same time, math in school has become relatively easy for me, as I can quickly understand what the teacher is teaching and apply the knowledge to solve problems. This allows me to focus more on subjects where I need further help. During exams, I can quickly grasp the meaning of the questions and find solutions, making my learning more efficient. This has also given me the energy to participate in external competitions, where I won a Creativity Award in the math category of the science exhibition. Learning KUMON has been like a journey. Although the process is filled with challenges, as long as you don’t give up, you can overcome all difficulties.
