On October 11, the Tsai Hsueh-Ni Foundation donated 9 wheelchairs and 4 oxygen machines to the Huashan Welfare Social Foundation to improve the mobility of the elderly and promote their social participation.

KUMON Excellent Student Sharing (Exceptional Student Yang Jieyue / High School Freshman) I started learning KUMON at the age of five, and my favorite subject is KUMON Math. Throughout the learning process, beyond improving my math skills, the long hours of practice have unknowingly helped me cultivate patience and the ability to seek solutions through mistakes. This attitude has enabled me to apply these skills across all types of learning.

Xiang Ning is currently in her kindergarten middle class. Before she was two and a half years old, her mother often arranged various activities, usually going out four days a week. Once, a friend reminded her mother: "Although it's rich and fun, the hardest part is making the child feel entertained at home. Stability needs to be cultivated, or it will be hard to self-study properly." Because of this advice, her mother decided to help her focus. As a result, at the age of two and seven months, Xiang Ning started at KUMON XinZhuang ZhongZheng TianQuan Classroom, first learning math, then gradually adding English and Chinese.

The Taipei Tsai Hsueh-ni Charity Foundation (hereafter referred to as the Foundation) continues to promote love and actively participate in social welfare undertakings. Recently, the Foundation has partnered with several charitable organizations to create a sustainable donation initiative, donating 121 second-hand computers to public welfare organizations in need.

On December 9th, the Taipei Tsai Hsueh-Ni Charity Foundation and the Women’s Federation of World Peace Taiwan held a "Meet a Better Version of Yourself" seminar at the Da’an Women’s Empowerment Center.

Congratulations to KUMON Beitun Fengle Classroom on its grand opening! The opening ceremony and the Parent-Child Teaching Tool Challenge Day event on December 10th were a great success!

To allow more children in Taiwan to benefit from the KUMON education system, Chairman Chao, Wen-Yu revealed the key coaching goals for 2024, which focus on “caring for every student, ensuring the quality of learning, and strengthening communication with parents.” These efforts aim to help more students continue their KUMON learning journey while developing the self-learning attitude and methods necessary to surpass their grade levels and fully demonstrate the value of KUMON.

When Huixin started kindergarten, she had just moved from Taiwan to the United States. Because she couldn't speak the language and couldn't make any friends, she felt very frustrated. After her parents searched for options, they decided to take her to KUMON to learn math and English. Now, she is in the fourth grade and is doing eighth-grade level math. Huixin believes KUMON's learning method is excellent! The teacher guides her to find the answers herself, and she progresses very quickly. In third and fourth grade, she was even selected as the best and fastest student in her class. Therefore, she is very grateful to KUMON! Let's take a look at Huixin's share, written in English.

To assist in improving the academic performance of the sports class, the Kaohsiung City Education Bureau facilitated the collaboration between Zhongxiao Junior High School in Fengshan and the Kon Wen Cultural and Educational Foundation to sign the "Zhongxiao Junior High School Sports Class Integration of KUMON Education Mathematics Skill Enhancement Program." This program provides teaching materials and instructors during extracurricular periods to help the students of the Zhongxiao Junior High Baseball Team, who frequently compete in various major domestic and international tournaments, catch up with their academic progress and continue to strengthen their academic foundation.

With the rapid development of the internet and technology, the key to surviving in today’s ever-changing society lies in self-learning ability. The Association for the Promotion of Self-Directed Learning in Taiwan held the “Self-Directed Learning and Self-Learning Ability Development Academic Seminar” on December 7, 2023. The event invited multiple experts and professors to share their insights, aiming to contribute to the promotion of self-learning ability.
